Mary Lothrop

Mary LothropWith experience in the corporate world and as an independent consultant, Mary Lothrop has a professional background that includes seventeen years in the field of human resources management.

For the past twenty years, Mary has worked as an independent consultant to a variety of clients from small businesses to Fortune 100 companies. Her clients are varied and include service industries and manufacturing firms. "I am dedicated to making sure my clients receive personal, detailed attention within the budget and timeframe that works for them," she states.

Mary has significant generalist experience in developing policies, procedures, handbooks and forms. She works closely with clients to ensure that projects are a good fit with their organization and also conform to current laws and regulations. One of Mary’s areas of specialization is in the development and implementation of affirmative action plans and she has successfully represented clients in OFCCP compliance reviews.

As an Employee Relations Manager at E-II Consumer Products, Inc., Mary was a human resources generalist with both corporate office and operating unit responsibility for a $1.2 billion group of consumer products manufacturing facilities.

In her work for Beatrice Consumer Durables, Mary was responsible for employee benefits plan design, administration, cost containment and communication that included numerous health and welfare plans. She also oversaw administration of the company's 401(k) plans.

In 1992, Mary co-founded HR Link, a specialized network of experienced human resource consultants. Because HR Link members share information and methodologies, clients can access "big firm" resources, usually at a fraction of the cost.
