Jennifer Bergmann

Jennifer BergmannJennifer is a Human Resources Consultant and specializes in compensation, employee communications and compliance, talent acquisition and management, policy development, employee relations, and job marketing services. Jennifer has over 18 years of diverse business experience with increasing leadership roles in human resources. Jennifer has applied her broad generalist knowledge as both an employee and consultant from small, growth-phase companies to large, established corporations, including Leo Burnett, Advocate Healthcare, and Draft Worldwide.

Prior to her current role, Jennifer established an infrastructure for compensation and benefits at InteliStaf Healthcare, a growing healthcare staffing company in Oak Brook, IL, as Director of Compensation and Benefits. This included the design, implementation, and communication of an employee total cash compensation program, including variable rewards.

While at Leo Burnett, Jennifer contributed to a $90M business win by developing strategies for minority recruitment and retention programs and Affirmative Action compliance. She also created significant HR policies and guidelines and worked with the company’s executives for approval.

As a Consultant, Jennifer has a sample client list that includes: Power Wellness, Advent Systems, G.D. Searle & Co. (now Pfizer), Ambrosi, Seven Worldwide, Tuthill Corporation, Accenture, Mt. Sinai Hospital & Medical Center, and St. Jude League/Claretian Publications. She has also been a contributing editor for human resources content in publications and written multiple employee handbooks and policies.

Throughout her career, Jennifer has also offered job marketing services to clients, including writing resumes, cover letters, and biographies. She also provides consultation for social media job marketing.

Jennifer holds a MS degree in Human Resources from Loyola University and a BS degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Jennifer lives with her family in Glen Ellyn, IL. She is an active member and previous board member of local philanthropic and social organizations. She is an avid runner, platform tennis player and enjoys reading, art, and sports.
